After making their own Maths with the egg characters, it was time to use them for some small world play. Open ended play always makes up a huge part of our day.

Resources

  • Egg characters
  • Grimm’s wooden toys (cars, boards, bricks, stacking cups, concentric rings, house, rainbows and semi circles)

Method

This was the “Easter Town” that they created.

First of all the pig needed help from the “Easter Bunny Crew”, to rescue Hedgehog.

They role played their Easter Bunny Crew going to work, to secretly make Easter eggs in their factory.

Ioan explained all the workings of Easter Town.
