We had a tradition in our last house, where the boys could choose their own Christmas tree decoration each year. We had to replace our old Christmas tree, as there wasn’t a spot in this house that wouldn’t be blocking a door or the television.

The new tree we got stands on the window ledge, but can’t hold Christmas decorations. So the boys were keen to have somewhere to hang and proudly display their collections.

We decided to get them a small tree each to decorate. This was them unpacking the box, when it arrived in the post on Christmas Eve.
