Method

Ioan made the mask first, he has made a few masks out of card this past week. He just cuts a mask shape with eye holes out, makes a hole at the edge with a pencil, then threads some string through the holes. I helped him tie the knots. Next, he drew the incredible logo to stick on the front of his top.

Finn was ‘Super 2’, his super hero persona. This has come from a roll call I do as we leave the house, to make sure they are all ready.

“Super 1… READY! Super 2… STEADY! Super 3… GOOOO!”

In their every day lives, Ioan is ‘Little One’, Finn is ‘Little Two’, Cian is ‘Little Three’ and Pilli is ‘Little Four’.

When they have a mission they become Super 1, Super 2, Super 3 and Super Paw.

This picture sums them up perfectly, Ioan taking his role seriously and Finn just living his best life!

Ioan has always been a cautious runner and runs in slow motion, almost like he has a handbrake on. He is scared of falling and hurting himself. Today, because he was running as Dash, he ran properly for the first time. Dash isn’t scared to run fast, so neither was he.

The highlight of the walk was when we had to jump out of the way as a heard of deer stampeded along the path to cool off in the lake.
