After being used in our play, Finn cleaned the bottle lids with the nail brush.

Resources

  • Bottle tops
  • Bowls and containers
  • Tools: tongs, ice cream scoop etc.
  • Pippette
  • Funnels
  • Dustbin lorry

Method

Finn helped me read the instructions.

He worked out a system for sorting the bottle lids, then used his fine motor skills whilst transferring them.

The tongs and tweezers became a baby crocodile and his Daddy.

Then baby crocodile swallowed a clock and began ticking away! At the end of this video, Finn accidentally squirted a pipette, which gave him the idea to squirt water in to the various containers.

Then there was lots of water and funnel play.
