Paint sticks are a fantastic way to enjoy painting, without the mess. The boys never get bored of making rainbows with them, so it’s always a good way to fill a spare 5 minutes.

Resources

  • Paint sticks
  • Coloured paper

Method

Finn made his rainbow out of dots, whereas Ioan preferred smooth arches. They always find it interesting working on different coloured backgrounds as it changes the colour of the paint stick. Finn kept commenting that he could hardly see his yellow paint on the orange background.

They added some clouds and they were done. The best part was that there was no clean up, unlike ordinary paints.
