Ioan was very excited to wear their yellow minion tops for our Bee Day. They collected an assortment of magnifying glasses and binoculars in anticipation of finding lots of bees.

Resources

  • Magnifying glasses/ telescope/ binoculars
  • Bee figures

Method

Before hunting for bees, we had to take Cian to visit the horses.

As they ran along, they were trying to work out if they could separate their feet from their shadows. Ioan and Finn did well.

They used their magnifying glasses, following every buzzing sound they heard. But, they didn’t find any bees in the field. However, once we got back to our street, we saw lots of them in people’s front gardens.
