Finn collected ‘treasures’ on the walk back from school, then enjoyed ‘munching’ his way through them.

Resources

  • Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle
  • Leaves and petals
  • Hole puncher

Method

Finn wanted to dress up as the Very Hungry Caterpillar, so it was him doing the munching.

It was great work for his fine motor skills as the hole puncher was quite heavy and stiff to push.

He was very proud of how much he ‘ate’.
